Life goes on

I have aways loved that Shabby Chic Look and really admired Rachel Ashwell, the woman who invented the phase and made the look so fabulous..I've poured over her books and in some small way tried to recreate bits of it in my home.....I can't say how sorry I was to hear that her company has gone bust...especially when so many people have copied her style.

About six months ago Rachel started her blog..it has been amazing to be able to comment to someone famous who you admire..but it also shows all the raw emotions that she is feeling as she goes through the bad times...and her hopes for the future...if you read the comments people have left her it will restore your faith in the human spirit....an anonymous comment really touched me and I just had to print it as wise words for us all.
I hope if you ever read this Rachel hope you didn't mind!!
