The Last Dance.

a  grave at Novodevichy Cemetery Moscow

she had hands of an angel
as they moved with expression
they danced
as her body
moved to the music
and accentuated a story
reaching out to the audience
impossibly long and slender
ruby tipped nails
caught
flowers strewn at her feet.

  1. I'm glad you took note of the flowers, so many (including me) focused on the hands.

  4. It's lovely , and I like that you included the flowers. I noticed the shadows and flowers in the pic before focusing on the hands.

  9. Hands say so much. Judy Garland used to know how to use her hands... this poem makes me think of her.
