whispers in chalk








you may think me as cold as marble
smooth toned and chalk
but i have many secrets
held close inside me
 waiting years
for the right one
to whisper them too.

    Interesting-Chalk made me stop and think! Soapstone because it would be easy to carve; you might then need chalk for pure 'white' coloring.

    Cool placement of words. Cool as marble. I too found this sad, as is the sculpture, sad and mysterious, with or without knobs.
