set adrift
damp snakes through me
blue
mists cling silk
close
wet
ripples bend gracefully over
unhooked  toes
elbows scraped and burnt
bind tight my fit
distant memories circle
the waters edge
sighing dreams
splinter skywards.

This is written for The Mag over at Tess's place.
the picture is by Alex Stoddart.

It reminded me of the lady of shallot but i got bogged down ( excuse the pun!) in Pre-Raphaelite romanticism so you'll have to make do with this!!

Also why does blogger have to change everything....i give up with the settings..ahhhgg!!??
