Life's a drag
we long for the old days
when no one questioned
our need to light up
regardless
of place
our puckered lips
testament to habits
that die hard
caught on an illicit camera
in the museum of fashionistas
marble halls
we are rebels
in our flat wool caps and
camel overcoats
our pooch left outside in the rain
cocks his leg against the 'no dogs sign'.

The dog--great touch.

ReplyDeleteLife definitely does have too many 'do not' signs. We are becoming stifled by rules and regulations, not realising our freedom is slowly being strangled to death...
